The owner of Peacock Marketing Group, Lisa Anderson, has non-profit employment and start-up business experience, as well as large, public company experience where she managed a $10M global marketing budget per year.  Lisa typically represents the association as the executive director, and her team provides the backbone and support to fulfill all the responsibilities and needs of the organization. Peacock Marketing Group also has grown participation in member events even while events overall are declining nationwide and has done so while achieving high customer satisfaction scores.

Services

General Admin 

  • Schedule and participate in con calls to brainstorm on ideas, set goals, assign tasks, and report on progress. 

  • Answer, respond, and route inquiries received by phone, mail, email, and website. 

  • Manage basic contracts for insurance, post office, annual renewals, online services, etc.

Bookkeeping 

Peacock Marketing facilitates monthly financial functions.  Based on averages from associations with ~200-300 members, we anticipate that our team will spend on average 20-25 hours per month on accounting tasks.  This is assuming the organization has an existing accounting system with QuickBooks Online (QBO) that has GL coding and categories established and in the software for expenses and revenue, as well as customer accounts with addresses, W9s, and invoicing emails.  

  • Maintain a bank/checking/credit card account, preferably one with online bill pay, interface to QBO, and check scanning device. 

  • Invoice (from an existing electronic system – not via paper/mail) and deposit annual membership dues. 

  • Enter and pay approved bills. 

  • Generate and disseminate regular financial reports from the software’s built-in reporting functionality. 

  • Participate in audits as requested. 

  • Generate, with Board of Directors, an annual working budget.  

  • Work with a specified third-party CPA in filing annual tax returns, legal incorporations, and 1099s. 

  • Request and/or file necessary change of address notices. 

  • Review and approve reimbursement reports. 

Program Support & Retention 

Social Media 

Our team is able to make basic posts and updates to your social media pages. While Peacock Marketing Group does have a good success rate as far as engagements and growth, social media is not a core focus for us.  We offer social media only to our associations that prefer a one-stop-shop and where visibility and a consistent presence are their main objectives. We also have experience with posting ads on Facebook to promote any upcoming programs or special events.
